You guys, I GET to photograph people who are in love. I can’t begin to explain what a privilege that is.

This couple, in particular, is a special one. Dave and Camille met in Physiotherapy school at Dalhousie (the same place I studied Occupational Therapy!). They were just friends for most of the two years while in school together, but near the end of their second year (the hardest one!) they started spending more time together and never again parted ways. They went on a trip with classmates to Spain and Portugal after graduation, and they told each other they were in love for the first time in Lisbon!

Says Camille, “It was a pretty special trip.”

It was -25 degrees yesterday, but the love between these two was enough to keep us all toasty and warm!

When I spoke with Camille afterwards, she said, “I was actually pretty nervous about doing a photo shoot – I wasn’t sure how awkward I would be in front of the camera – but you made us feel super comfortable and just let us have fun, despite the -25 with windchill temperature and a crazy dog who would not cooperate!! I had a blast and can’t wait to have you with us on our special day in July.”

It is ME who can’t wait for that big beautiful day in July. [insert girly squeal!!!]
