After photographing dozens of weddings, I’m always shocked when I see something that just stops me in my tracks. Erica and Shane did that time and time and time again. From the way her father teared up before they walked together along the green laden path of the Saint John Public Gardens, to the way Shane froze with glassy eyes as he saw her for the first time. The little whispers and the loud, “My husband looks so gorgeous right now!” sentiments. Every moment of their day was centered on love, an eternal, unconditional, pure love that flowed through every moment of their wedding day.

When they exchanged their vows from the center of Saint John Public Gardens, it was as if they were the only people on the planet. Erica and Shane floated through their wedding day with grace, gratitude, and so many tiny moments that made the day perfect. As we navigated the rocky shores of Tin Can Beach, stood in the centre of Charlotte Street, and danced beneath the Bandstand of King’s Square, I was reminded that I get to be a part of some of the most incredible moments this world has to offer and I get to spend my days documenting love stories that will be told well beyond my expiry.
