There were audible gasps as Gillian descended the regal staircase at Shadow Lawn Inn. From the corner of my eye, I saw Chris snap a quick one from his phone, one of those emotional split-second moments I am certain he wanted to preserve forever. Afterwards, I heard him say to her, “Look at you, how’d I get to be so lucky?” He didn’t realize I was within earshot while I was changing my lens.
It was the epitome of an intimate celebration in every way, surrounded by their dearest family and friends, a long dinner table and words of gratitude, and I am so honoured to have been a part of it.
